Private Lessons

Individual private lessons are best suited to evaluate your dog's temperament and behavior or to address 1-2 simple topics such as house training, jumping on visitors, etc. 

Includes:

• Private In-Home Lesson, about an hour long
• Step by Step Instruction for training your dog

Individual Lesson Cost: $145. The cost of an initial evaluation/first lesson can be applied toward any training program you purchase.

Lesson packages are targeted to your goals. Five lessons is sufficient to teach your dog basic obedience and manners and/or can be used to work toward other goals you have. 

Basic obedience and manners:

• come when called
• sit, down, and stay
• place: stay on a dog bed until released
• leash manners: walking politely on leash without pulling, pass people and dogs under control
• door manners: wait at the door until released

Example of other goals or behaviors:

• staying out of the kitchen
• managing a playful puppy with an older dog who doesn't want to play
• cooperating for brushing and nail trims
• dropping the toy when you play fetch
• and many more

Package Includes:

• 5 In-Home Private Lessons, about an hour long
• Step by Step Instruction for training your dog
• Ongoing Trainer Support between lessons

Package Cost: $700

This package is for people who want the most support during their dog training journey. Everything in the five lesson package can be covered, plus the opportunity to address more challenging problem behaviors, to improve reliability by training in different locations with more distractions, to teach your dog advanced obedience, or to achieve additional goals.

Package Includes:

• 10 In-Home Private Lessons, about an hour long
• Step by Step Instruction for training your dog
• Ongoing Trainer Support between lessons

Introduce your dog to tricks, scent work, rally obedience, competitive obedience, or other specialty areas! We encourage everyone to engage their dog by giving them a job and a chance to show off their natural abilities. This program was designed to share our passion with you and is available to dogs who have completed a training program with us or by trainer approval. 

Specialty Lessons Include:

• Your Choice of Topic: tricks, rally, scent work, focus/engagement, cooperative play, etc
